On the day, Wouter will share 2 key lessons he learned in a monastery and will offer a challenge for Christian entrepreneurs and business leaders.
Wouter serves as the president of Europartners (www.europartners.org), a dynamic European movement of Christian entrepreneurs, business leaders, and ministry leaders. Europartners connects peers to Christ and equips Christian leaders to integrate the Gospel into their leadership and businesses. The organization also acts as an incubator, helping to establish business ministries and equipping leaders across Europe.
In addition to this role, Wouter is the initiator of Surpassing Success (www.surpassingsuccess.com), an initiative aimed at helping entrepreneurs build fulfilling, purpose-driven lives through their businesses.He is also the author of The Jerusalem Entrepreneur ( https://europartners.org/the-jerusalem-entrepreneur/ ), which has been translated into 10 languages. The book explores the question: "How do we move from a money-driven business to a purpose-driven one that blesses society, creation, and God, while still being economically profitable?"
Wouter has a strong business background, having spent over 22 years in the automotive sector in various management roles. Prior to leading Europartners in 2015, he was the Managing Director of CBMC Netherlands (2007–2015), a network of Christian entrepreneurs. He also served as Managing Director at one of the largest automotive retail companies in the Netherlands (2001–2007), overseeing brands such as Volvo and Land Rover. Earlier in his career, Wouter held leadership positions within Volkswagen/Audi dealerships and was part of the management team of the largest car parts retailer in the Netherlands at the time
