Michael is a founder and owner of Basecamp Investments, which invests in early stage companies in N. America, Europe and Africa.  In addition to his investment roles, he works with leaders to develop high performing teams that create healthy culture in businesses and the third sector.  

For the last fifteen years he has also worked with Youth With a Mission (YWAM), where his responsibilities have included, providing leadership to one of the major YWAM training campuses, being a part of the International Advisory Board and founding an IT training and job placement programme in East Africa. 

Michael began his career working for a British Government Minister, before switching to the business sphere. His previous business experience includes being the Commercial Director for a software near-shoring company, a strategy consultant with Accenture, and the managing director of a property development company.  

He is currently a Trustee of CARE, The Penny Trust, and YWAM Ltd, and a Director of five companies.
